Third day of heat wave

The third day of heat wave: two air con's and three fans going but every day the apartment building retains more heat. It is sunny until late next week, but it may cool soon. It is getting dangerous, hard to breath, passing out a lot, seizures, risky to go anywhere alone, especially the bathroom. Was going to start a pool on which day I would have a stroke/heart attack as the heat drains my body, steals sleep and plays havoc with the autonomic system.

Postcard Project and First sunny day blog post ready to go, but everything takes longer - will sleep and post once I get up. Survive.

Cope with the heat first - we'll still be here. Supposed to be a little cooler tomorrow - I sure hope so. We're getting it bad down here in Seattle too.

I hope the heat breaks soon! and I hope you make it through ok! *hugs*

Oh no with heat--the bathroom isn't a risky place for most people to go, but with dysautonomia--lots of hard places to hit when passed out. I'll bet it gets hot there.

Think cool thoughts. Ice!

Uhm... Not meaning to be too cynical, but a pool of which day... wouldn't a pool of which hour be a bit closer to accurate?

Hurry to San Francisco. It's much cooler.

Just read an article about Warren Beatty's oldest daughter having gender reassignment surgery. The article tried raising questions about becoming male and being attracted to men. I was, I guess, happily surprised at how matter-of-fact the comments were: "She is becoming a gay male. So what?"

Raccoon: uh, too right. It only takes an hour for me to go into full heat stroke with the shakes, fever, hallucinations, the whole bit. Right now I am stuck in one room and I still have at least 36 hours before it gets cooler.

Cooler is good. China and Europe are both in heat waves.

Hmmm, the ratio of gay transmen seems higher than the general population, but maybe that is because those guys are the only ones talked about.

Survive first, worry about us later. We'll be here.

Sending cool thoughts.
