(I am prepped for that at ALL times!).But really, with Sakura Cherry Blossoms coming down on the anime sword maiden and anime coloured HAIR,
isn’t that the essence of going to Sakura-Con? And am I ready? Well, I don’t have the sword with me at the MOMENT but I would say, HELL YEAH!
Some kind soul paid for me to have my first haircut in a year. I actually had it red on top and purple underneath but the purple went away. Oh well, born to be a red-head I guess, with corset and accessories to match (note the purple in the earrings and the purple in the armbands!).
So, let’s see, do I have the anime ability to charm wild animals?
Well, I am not up to giant wolves, I am sort of starting small and working up
I might try like…raccoons next. How about the ‘let’s kick some ass’
and ‘I look cool everywhere I go’ attitude? Oh check and double check.
Details later, with pictures, but yeah, I am ready to go (including other vital Anime girl essentials – though sadly I do not yell, “Go Power of Sakura Petals!” and have all my clothes fly off me while some incredibly scanty clad outfit made entirely of ribbons assembles itself allowing me to fight evil……but I am working on it!)

Nice cut and nice color! Wish I could go to Sakura-con--I really hope you all have a lot of fun there.
Yay! You look awesome and I can see a bit of purplish under the red. Great colour!
There's a wee present coming your way that seems to fit the theme...
You look great! You certainly got the hair colour right too!
Go wow them all at Sakura-Con, Beth. Hope you have a fantastic time there, if I don't get to post a comment in the meantime (as I may well be out of reach of the 'net... yes, there still are a handful of such places!)
These are some great photos! I hope you have a wonderful time and that the ratio of medical crisis to buying cool stuff/meeting cool people works out in your favour.
I can still see the purple. I'm sure it didn't stay as much as you wanted, but it's definitely still there.
Would that my spine didn't curve two different ways (one exaggerated curve is not enough for me!) so that I could wear sexy corsets. *sad Dawn face*
the hair looks great! Would love to see the magical ribbon outfit.
Sharon
Woohoo! I'm glad you are ready to go!
Wait, I could be getting assisted showers?
You do have the anime hair going on and you look beautiful on the bridge by the cherry tree. The highlights on your hair and the corset are great! I really like you with red hair.
Anime ability to tame wild animals - check. So far I have seen you tame squirrels, bunnies and RSPCA cats so I think it is only a matter of time before you are taming wolves, bears, tigers, etc.
Kick ass pose and attitude pose… yeah you have those down.
The clothes flying off to leave you fighting evil while wearing strategically placed ribbons will probably take a lot more practice to perfect.
girls with giant swords are fun to look at. I hope you see lots of them at Sakura con.
Imagine their upper body strength...
That's a couple of nice pictures.
Very cool cut. Now, where does one get a large sword when one needs one? Any mysterious boulders near you which might just sprout one?
(Wrong mythos, I suppose.)
Dawn: logically, it must be possible to cut a corset to accommodate spinal curves, as well as the more usual sort. Whether worth it or not is another matter.
Dawn: that particular corset is a flex corset with spandex and should accomodate two curves since it is accomodating a small one already on me, but also it doesn't go that high is the back, the start of the T's. Then there are adustable straps which use under buttons to make it look like it it sewn all one piece - make by Tripp NYC and the Christabella Corset - they make a lot of different ones and some have higher support or higher spandex than others, some use flex rods, like this, while others are more rigid. I use Tripp NYC because the corsets are $45 instead of $150 for the 'official ones' - also, helps when your chair has dump and you get as Raccoon so elegantly put it the 'pregnant belly'.
That corset is absolutely gorgeous, and your hair colour is perfect (pity about the purple, but the effect is so striking anyway). You look fantastic. Hope you have a great time.
You look good, dear. But please don't try charming skunks; they have their own charms, ones which are best appreciated from a certain distance.
The anime girls probably never sweat or need the bathroom, but those are bad traits, so don't emulate them too much.
Yes, you DO look cool in those photos, and I'm jealous of the temperatures and green grass you have.
Love and zen hugs,
Neil
Have fun at the con, there is a comic con here this weekend I may try to get to but I have a lot else going on; not hairdo or costume for me, but I do have a new black t shirt I may break out, lol
Look forward to pics
Oh yeah, I got the pregnant belly going on, exaggerated by my sway-back curve.
I wish I had a way to try them on before buying. Despite them having spandex and flexible rods, I still have my doubts about finding one to fit.
