Jasamine the cat is a mouser and like to play, even at two years old. We had a lot of fun, particularly because she liked to 'catch' my wiggling fingers.
And then BITE THE HEADS OFF! Yup you can see she is down to the second knuckle. Jasamine would be the kind to leave you lots of 'gifts' to wake up to, all the small animals in a 1 km area.
Still cats make Beth feel better. And make Linda happy too. And they shed.....a LOT! So it is LIKE owning a cat.

I know it's been quite a while since I've commented, but I'm still reading and still thinking you guys!
Just had to drop a quick line to tell you that OF COURSE kitties make you feel good! I'm almost convinced that that's what kitties were invented for in the first place. I LOVE them and I'm glad you got a little Kitty Therapy to make your day a little better!
Sasha
Awwwwwww, thanks so very much for sharing! The second cat so reminds me of my old cat of yesteryears... maybe she's her reincarnation?
Cats are the best when you need some love and support. My cats have seen me through some bad times...
I'm glad you had a cat interlude! *hugs*
very pretty kitties!
I'm glad to hear you are better now. I like cats, too. I like that, more than other animals, they have got a mind of their own.
Sandra.
Woah! Jasmine has the most amazing green eyes! Can't wait to hear more!
Cats (and of course dogs, at least I think so) are great. I love that first photo, you and the cat look beautiful. It's a lovely moment captured.
*grin* So glad Elizabeth was able to visit Elizabeth the Cat. Sounds like a good day.
Awwww.... they (and you with them) are so cute! So glad you got a chance to had with kitties.
I'm not able to go to animal shelters very easily. I empathize too much with the animals.
On the other hand, hooray for cat therapy!
I love cats. Couldn't live without my Himalayan. She's adorable. They always make me feel at ease.
Cat therapy: wonderful.
Love and zen hugs,
Neil
they are so cute! i love these pictures! thank you so much for posting them on your blog!
Today I had two very exacting appointments; the last of which took the hope right out of me, I will try to work on this tomorrow though they demolished all day and I got 4.5 hours sleep last night before my first appointment. I apologize for the delay.
Sasha: I am really glad you commented and are still okay, and I am really happy to hear from you and yes, kitties are pretty nice, and so many personalities.
Devi: She she was very determined and fiesty and liked playing.
Alex M: I am glad you have cats. And I am going to try and see cats again soon.
Wendryn: Thanks, I don't think I have enough interaction with independant minds who purr.
Frida: yes, I'm going to put all the cats up - I am not sure if Linda took shots of Murray and friend.
Sandra: Things are better. But also after today, in my life, in many ways worse. Sometimes things wound so bad - like when specialists won't give you the potential live saving treatment BECAUSE you are dying - they know it, they admit it, but don't want to talk about it except to say they haven't done that treatment for that type of failure (which we suspect they have never seen), and thus, even if it is recommended, they are not putting their name on it, and they are not going to do it. But would I like some psychiatric counselling?
(I actually did nothing this time and said nothing.)
Abi: Yes, she does, I hadn't looked that much at her eyes except to try and save my fingertips.
Olivia: Then I shall definately try to get some more pictures like that, or put up the ones I have.
Stephanie: Actually not so much, I was denied seeing kittens...forever, for reasons we couldn't quite figure out. But that was just one shelter who seemed a bit um, well, the cats were far less regal and demanding than the humans.
Lene: Yes, Kitties exist for me if Linda is kind enough to take me. Thankfully she is.
Raccoon: I empathize with them too, but since I am not sure what the process is, as these cats seemed to be kept for a long time. And healed as well. And they had an indoor/outdoor play area as well asa few other rooms - the only thing they didn't have was stuff to hide under (one cat liked using the wheelchair for that).
Cat Litter: Cool, I'm glad, I don't know the breeds but I bought a book, used and am going to try to learn more (okay, it is from Japan and teaches about cats by using anime catgirls but still - whatever works!).
Neil: Thanks!
Elisa: I am sorry I didn't follow up later today, I put these up before my first medical appointment and then after the second and the construction, I had problems breathing even after sleeping and it took a long time to be conscious - I just exhausted myself. But tomorrow - more cats!
What lovely cats - especially Jasmine. I fetched my cat back from the cattery yesterday afternoon (she stayed there whilst I was on holiday) - my house feels much more homely with her around, but IU didn't miss waking up in the middle of the night because the cat is sitting "affectionately" on my chest staring into my face and miaowing. Then running off and ignoring me as soon as I was awake. Cats!
Dear Beth,
The cat visit pictures are wonderful - I'm glad you got to see the kitties.
I am worried about the appointments & the bad news you mention. I have an idea of what you're talking about. If a treatment can alleviate some of your pain & symptoms, you should be able to have it, dying or not. Please e-mail me if you need to talk about it.
