Elizabeth McClung said...: No medication - doctors will only do refills so far, no advance; we have the letter, but no one who will do anything. Also too ill to see doctors this week and much of last week.; 10:25 PM

I know what it's like to be too sick to go to the doctor! No strength to get up & get dressed, deal with the ride, sitting is too hard. Not to mention the pain & whatever other symptoms you are dealing with. And not having the mind power to speak up for yourself. Sometimes this can be managed, if you know the doctor is going to help you. Like when I go to my primary care doctor - I know she's going to listen, help me deal with my current symptoms, & try to come up with a plan to make things better for me. When it's a visit to another specialist, or tests etc that might possibly help in the future, or a doctor that probably not going to help, it's just too hard. And sometimes it's just impossible even for a good doctor. Some days rest is best.
I wish you had some peace & quiet today. Bah to the construction & noise!
