Santa may not come tonight, but this guy might!

Here is the number one reason why you shouldn’t leave out cookies and milk tonight: because there are nature’s burglars and I’m ROOTING for them.

This is my Dec. 24th smile of the day – watch the one minute video below (not mine but it make Linda and I watch it over and over again – is he REALLY going to take it? Wait and see).

Have a happy time with your families, and for those like me, try not to do anything TOO self destructive while you brood and drink…..ALONE. (Seriously, watch the video; it is less than a minute!)

My son and i will be alone to as he still has to have his routines, which is really difficult as everything is shut!!
But we are together and he is safe.

That is one brave coon! The people were right there (I am guessing from the amount of camera motion in the flim and the giggling in the background) and he still got it!

And yet another reason to lock your cat/dog doors at night!

So funny! And that does seem to be a hand-held camera, so not only did the raccoon steal the rug (for his own nefarious purposes, no doubt) but right out from under someone's nose.

I want to see that raccoon's house.

OK, that's making me laugh pretty hard, and I was totally not in the mood to laugh at all.

Thanks!

Alone? Where's Linda?

Regardless, have a merry one and be kind to yourself...

That right there kicks ass. They should start leaving stuff for him. I would (little hat, shirt...lol)

Crap, that's funny! Perfect choice of music, too. Thanks for that. And I hope the drinking leads to the giggly kind of drunk, instead of the other kind.

Merry Christmas. We need you here. I'm hoping the holiday fills back up with some peace and warmth.

I'm telling the teenagers that Father Christmas wants a large brandy and a mince pie tonight. We have three and a quarter hours to go and are nowhere near ready.

If the neighbours' cat comes in through the cat flap, he can play at being Rudolph. I am definitely not showing him the video - he behaves quite badly enough already and would probably be inspire.

Hope it's a good day for you both tomorrow.

I don't really do Christmas - thankfully, i've managed to *relatively* free myself from all that nuclear-family crap - but i know how shit it can feel to be alone when there is such a huge expectation being put on everyone to be having happy family time together. So, my sympathies, and i hope you don't feel too alone...

Awwwwwww! I love racoons. They may be vermin that roots through your trash (or steals your mat), but they're downright adorable while they're doing it.

Best holiday wishes to you!

Thanks everyone and I will do personal comments tomorrow, I am just getting caught up and I hope you are having a good time and I saw three squirrels today and Linda saw a mouse but no Racoon - shucks!
